Our History

PSI Motorsport Classics is part of the SWC Group. Located in the immediate proximity of the legendary Spa-Francorchamps race track, we have always been committed to perfecting cars and drive trains.

We are active in both motorsport and the development of alternative drive systems and environmentally friendly fuels for sustainable mobility of the future. Our expertise is not only used in racing, but also in the passenger car and commercial vehicle sector.

From garage start-up to international breakthrough

PSI Motorsport's journey began in 1994 in a small garage when founder Christian Schumacher discovered his passion for engine optimisation.

BMW, Honda and many other well-known manufacturers and partners placed their trust in our expertise and quickly helped us gain a firm foothold and recognition in international motorsport.

Motorsport: milestones & achievements

PSI Motorsport has consistently pushed the boundaries, from the introduction of a diesel-powered vehicle at the 24 Hours of Spa and GT victories at the 24 Hours of Zolder in 1999 and the 24 Hours of Spa in 2001, to numerous victories in the Touring Car Championship.

One of the highlights of our story is the development of the legendary PSI 996 GT2/R, which turned heads in the FIA/GT Championship.

Our passion: restoring classic race cars

Today, PSI Motorsport Classics is devoted to restoring and renting out its Porsche FIA/GT cars from the 2000s.

The restoration of the PSI 996 GT2-R is a painstaking journey through time into the world of motorsport, where every detail is carefully reconstructed – from the bodyshell to the legendary Mezger engine. No detail or component remains untouched, ensuring that these racing classics are brought back to the race track with a focus on success.
